— It is essential sometimes to retreat. To stop everything you have been doing, to stop your beliefs and experiences completely. Gaining perspective to look at them anew.
My intention of holding retreats comes from a place deep within.
Gathering people and hearing their stories. Being together surrounded by nature, creating beautiful spaces and warming environments for everyone. Weaving together all the practices I have embodied with my current interests. It makes me feel so alive.
Creating a special and unique experience just for you is an honor.

Sound bath meditation is a non sleep deep rest practice. The participants lie down on their back and listen to different instruments being played in a way that supports relaxation. The class takes you from a wake state of mind to a dreamlike one.
Here you may experience your mind softening, and stress releasing it’s grip. Creativity and solutions to problems may also appear in this altered brainwave state.
The session is usually 1 hour or 45 minutes but can also be 15-30 min following one of our signature exercise classes.

Movement practices

Pilates is an excellent workout for the core and overall body strength. You can expect enhanced stability, mobility, stamina, flexibility and balance.
All while promoting healthy joints and combining strengthening and stretching muscle groups on opposite sides of the body, to create balance and a greater postural alignment.
People of all ages and abilities can do pilates, including pregnant women due to it’s low-impact and many adaptations of the exercises.
The practice will also give you a greater body awareness in time, which will benefit you for the rest of your life in all that you do.
Miriam’s style of teaching is weaving classical pilates as a base with contemporary teachings. The result is a fluid class where movement quality is our focus, giving you an efficient and enjoyable way of training.

The Garuda Method combines the flow and spiritual element of yoga with the focus and core of Pilates into a holistic and organic form of exercise that creates calm, agility and strength.
Flows of exercises challenges your mental strength as well as your physical capabilities and delivers fast results.
Increased body awareness creates flexibility, good posture and a relaxed movement pattern.
The fascia, the connective tissue that transmits power between the muscles of the body, is an important focus of this method. Breathing guides you through the movements, activates body heat and increases energy.

Total Barre® is a fun way to workout to the beat of the music. The class is a fusion of ballet, fitness and Pilates.
Mixed to a physically challenging class which is highly addictive and gives fast results. Tones the glutes and legs and strengthens the core in a way that you have never done before.
Deep Rest practices

Sound Meditation is a method of self-care that promotes deep relaxation. In my sessions I play different instruments, crystal singing bowls and chimes to create soundscapes for meditation, relaxation and daydreaming that often inspires deep rest, and an expanded awareness.
The frequencies and vibrations emitted from the instruments can ease brain activity into a calm state. It’s very similar to how your favorite music shifts your focus from day- to-day life to recreation.
Sound waves have a pleasurable physical massage-like effect on the body as well. The experience has been described as sounds and frequencies washing over your head, torso, arms, legs, and feet. A “sound bath” much like a water bath is something you relax your whole mind and body into, rather than something you just listen to.

A somatic guided deep rest practice.
Providing permission to find and explore your sensations, feelings, emotions, thoughts and visualisations, all the while remaining in relaxed awareness, Yoga Nidra provides a space for your emotions to arise freely, without expressing or repressing them and in doing so it becomes possible for them to fade or become neutral in our mind's eye.
By transforming the way our body-brain connection perceives past reactive behaviours, they become far less dramatic and much easier to deal with in an aligned and authentic way.
