My highest aspiration is for you to have a wonderful and memorable experience from the first email to the final goodbye hug. As a small and independent business I puts a lot of energy and love into making these experiences a reality and for this reason I have to set some boundaries regarding cancellation and deposits. TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Deposit & Payment
Full payment is what reserves your spot and room choice for the retreat. When you sign up and fill out the form we will get back to you within a couple of days to confirm your spot. Payment is made via invoice and is due within 14 days after the confirmation — then you are good to go.
If your payment is not received on time, your spot will be made available for someone else to book unless there is a written agreement with Miriam.
Cancellation by you / Refund Policy
Life can be unpredictable, and we understand that sometimes things come up that are beyond our control. That's why we want to be as flexible as possible when it comes to cancellations and refunds. For this retreat the policy may seem a little strict, but it is enforced due to the non-recoverable payments that are made in advance to various parties to plan this retreat. Also bear in mind that as the retreat date gets closer, it becomes harder and harder for us to fill any empty spots left by cancellations. And we don't want anyone to miss out on all the fun! Exceptions to the refund and cancellation policy cannot be made.
Days Before Start Dates Cancellation Charge:
More than 30 days before: Full refund
Less than 30 days before: No refunds
If you cancel less than 30 days before, and you are unable to attend, you can transfer the place to another participant (this is something you take care of yourself). Should you become ill or have an emergency, Miriam will do her best to transfer your place to someone if there is a waiting list. If you arrive late or need to leave the retreat early, you will not receive any refund on the remaining time of your scheduled stay.
You may cancel your space at any time providing that the cancellation is made by the person submitting the booking form and it is communicated to us in writing. Cancellation will take effect the day such notification is received by us.
I understand the cancellation and refund policy that is clearly stated above. I also understand that Miriam will only make changes to program dates if it is unavoidable, giving as much notice as possible.
Retreat cancellation by Miriam
In the event that we are forced to cancel the retreat for any reason, we will provide a full refund on all payments made. Please note that we are unable to cover any personal expenses, such as travel expenses, visa costs, work-related losses, etc.
Payment Policy
I understand the payment policy that is clearly stated above and on the website and if there are any changes in that policy (ie. request for a payment plan) that is decided with Miriam via email.
Insurance
We encourage you to purchase travel cancellation insurance to protect your investment in case of unforeseen circumstances that may arise. This can include unexpected illnesses or injuries, natural disasters, or other unexpected events that may prevent you from being able to attend the retreat. Travel cancellation insurance can provide peace of mind and financial protection in these situations, allowing you to receive a refund or credit for your retreat fees. While we do have a policy in place for cancellations and refunds, it is always a good idea to have an additional layer of protection in case the unexpected occurs.
Health Information
You are required to complete the confidential health form as a part of the booking form, before securing your retreat spot to help us prepare for each and every guest. We need to know if you have a particular pre-existing injury or medical condition and any allergies, so that we can make sure you will be able to fully enjoy your retreat.
I also understand that although we may discuss life and health issues, Miriam is not a medical doctor, physiotherapist or physiotherapist and does not give diagnoses.
Privacy Policy
I understand that what is shared in this group is completely confidential, including all information provided to Miriam. I also understand that by law, Miriam is required to seek assistance if she believes that your life or someone else’s life is in immediate danger. Your personal information and any notes will be stored securely and will not be shared with any other party without your prior consent other than when required to do so as noted above.
Your Commitment
I understand that I am the only person who can take responsibility for my own long-term wellbeing. In turn Miriam will agree to support you to the best of her ability at all times during this weekend as a professional pilates, yoga & meditation teacher, sound and reiki facilitator. I have read and understood the information on this consent form. I hereby request and consent to the guidance of Miriam Morgenstern.
